The trailhead at Ice Box Canyon in the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area outside of Las Vegas, Nevada.  Although the initial part of the trail was exposed to the desert heat, once inside the shadow of the canyon, the ambient temperature dropped about 10°F, giving the canyon its namesake.
